On and Off-Road Performance

Designed for off-roading adventures, the Jeep Gladiator does pretty well no matter where you’re headed. With two engine options, you can have all the power you need.

The standard engine is the gas 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine that delivers 285 horsepower. The available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine offers 260 horsepower, with 442 lb-ft of torque.

When you’re heading off-road, you might want to use the Off-Road+ button. This feature optimizes traction, transmission shift points, and more for driving on sand dunes or rock crawling.

To give you a smooth driving experience no matter where you are, the Gladiator has FOX aluminum-bodied 2-inch diameter shocks that provide damping control when the terrain gets rough.

Towing and Payload Capacity

When you’re heading out on your next adventure, you might want to bring some extra supplies or additional necessities with you.

You can load the bed of the Gladiator and hit the open road. The maximum payload capacity of the Gladiator is 1,700 pounds—enough for ATVs, camping gear, and more.

If you’re more interested in towing a boat or a small camper, the Gladiator can help with that too. The Gladiator has a maximum towing capacity of 7,650 pounds when properly equipped.
